Ms. Dutta has more than 15+ years of experience in Litigation, Corporate and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). She has been practicing as a neutral, mediator, arbitrator, litigator, advocate, lecturer, trainer and problem solver. She assists the participants in any conflict resolution process to reach optimally achievable results. She has gained prior experience at large, national, international law firms, including renowned firms such as Martin F. McMahon & Associates, Washington DC, USA which is the first law firm to file a criminal case against the Government of Syria in USA, she has also worked with Barkats & Associates Washington DC, USA and lastly was associated with LawQuest as a Partner. Currently, she is the Founder and Managing Partner of ASTUTE LAW.

She has been awarded the ‘Exceptional Woman of Excellence’ award on the forum of The Fifth Women Economic Forum of the World Economic Forum, for the women engaged in accelerating the world economy. This honor was given to her for her priceless contribution in the field of law, exceptional ability of business leadership, her achievements in the field of legal and teaching.

She has also been invited and awarded by International Human Rights Association as a delegate to represent the delegation to the British Parliament with a purpose to study British Political System, at Westminster, London. and have also had been invited to represent Global vision India foundation to attend the 62nd Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW62) at United Nations Headquarters New York, NY, USA.

She is a visiting faculty at K.C. Law College, Mumbai University and Stockholm School of Business. She is also the Executive Director of Global Vision India Foundation, a NGO that’s works towards providing excellence in legal education. She is also in charge of the IPR cell of Mumbai University.

She was a core team member for formulating the IP Policy for the Karnataka Government and Managing committee for the ‘Parliamentary Bill Observers Committee. She also holds the position as Director, western Region in Indian National Bar Association.

Being committed to serving society, Ms. Pooja is involved with the crime enforcement department of Mumbai Police for their Anti drug and cyber crime initiatives, and provides pro bono services to several charitable institutes like SAALT (South Asian Americans Leading Together), DrishtiPath, an NGO for the upliftment of Bangladeshi Immigrants in USA and Core Committee Member of Life Protector 100 (NGO, an initiative by the Mumbai Police).
